Tratar Bikes

Thank you.

September 1, 2016

Two years ago, we set out to create an ultimate wooden bicycle. We believed that combining the traditional wood-crafting knowledge and skills with innovation and contemporary design can result in a unique, transformative cycling experience.

We are very proud of products we have built. An eye-catching elegance and a technological quality of Svarog and Stribog bikes were flattered by many. What we are even more proud of are the values that lead us on our journey: in the world of mass-production and mass-consumption, we tried our best to stay loyal to important causes of ecological sustainability and social responsibility.

However, at the same time, we failed to create a business that would be agile enough to overcome many market difficulties and obstacles, and to sustain a future development of both products and company as a whole. For this reason, we are left with no other choice but to end the journey of Tratar Bikes. We are truly sorry for this unfortunate outcome - it is certainly not something we would wish to do.

As of today, it is no longer possible to order new Tratar Bikes products, either directly over our now defunct online store, or through our representatives. In October 2016, our company will be legally liquidated.

Despite the end of Tratar Bikes' journey, we will continue to offer all the necessary support to our existing customers - you may read more about it in the 'FAQ' section below.

At this point, I'd like to personally express my sincere gratitude to everybody who believed in us: to our customers, suppliers and retailers. My special thanks go to my team of coworkers and advisors. It has been a true privilege to work with you.

I own one of your products and it is still covered by warranty. What happens now with the warranty?

Everything stays the same. Your product is still going to be covered by the warranty under the same terms and conditions both parties agreed to at the time of purchase.

How should I make a warranty claim after the closure of your business?

The procedure stays practically the same. If you wish to submit a warranty claim, please write us at

Please be sure to attach pictures of the affected product, a brief description of the problem, and a proof of purchase (a receipt or an order confirmation will do). Unfortunately, without a valid form of proof of purchase, the warranty is not valid.
